Xbox Modding Infomation

This Post is to teach you about the differant modifications that can be done to the Xbox 360 Console. I will tell you about: Iso Mods (modded game), HotSwapping, Flashed DVD Trays, Xk3ys and JTag's/RGH's. ( I will add pictures at a later date) *THIS IS UNFINISHED!!*

ISO Mods (modded game): This is a Normal game that has been modified by changing things in the files and/or adding files.

Hot-Swapping: Hotswapping is Changing the Retail game to a modded game as the console is running and about to install.


Flashed DVD Tray: This is where a normal DVD Tray has been loaded custom firmwere so the tray is able to run backup games (not xbox certificated games)


Xk3y's: These are little chipboards that plug in between the DVD tray and your Xbox motherboard. With a Xk3y you can play games from any USB storage device over 8.5GB (minimum game size).
